Seaham High School in Co Durham has the vast majority of the students coming from socially deprived backgrounds. We were asked if we could support the school with some keyboards. We were really delighted to hear the following from the School:
“Behaviour has improved with the introduction of the new keyboards as each student now has an instrument, rather than having to share, which has created a more settled atmosphere. Students have found the record function very useful as they are able to listen back, evaluate and improve their work. When lessons have finished, students take responsibility for looking after their own equipment and checking them. The students feel valued as we have invested in giving them good quality equipment to work with. They are now visibly learning and enjoying the experience”.
