Join us on the 28th and 29th of March 2020, for Music for All’s UK-wide event. Returning for its’ ninth year, the Learn to Play Day will once again offer the general public the chance to have a free ‘taster’ lesson on a range of musical instruments.

Over 12,000 free lessons were given in 2019 with up to a third of people going on to continue their musical journey. Over 100 venues all around the country put on events. We had music shops, orchestras, Churches, rehearsal rooms, community music projects, music services and more… All are very welcome!

Music for All’s aim for Learn to Play Day is to create a whole host of new music makers and to bring lapsed musicians back into action.

For those wanting to come along, it’s a fantastic opportunity to give music making a go and to get expert advice for free.

For those of you wanting to hold an event, it’s a truly fun day and really great publicity for your shop/organisation; you’d be surprised as to how much of the public don‘t know that you’re there!

If you’d like to hold your own Learn to Play Day event, please email alice@musicforall.org.uk

If you’d like to come along and give an instrument a go, keep an eye on the public map at www.musicforall.org.uk/learntoplayday/ to find your nearest participating venue – we’d love to see you there!
