Earlier this year, we wrote about the Yorkshire Sound Women Network which was founded in 2015 by women working in the sound technology industry who wanted to use their skills and influence to address gender and racial inequality.
Their mission is to support a flourishing industry which welcomes, encourages and progresses the inclusion of women at all levels from studio floor to board room, and reflects the diversity of its participating communities.
We were asked if we could help them with funding for a series of workshops to get even more women supported and involved with music making. We were naturally delighted to be able to help!
And here are the pictures from the WIRED Project that we supported!
